Nagin Lake is located to the east of the city alsonown as the 'Jewel In The Ring'. Nagin is generally held to be the most beautiful of the Dal lakes. Nagin Lake is covered with a number of willow and poplar trees on its edges. The reflection of these trees in the water of the lake lends it a beautiful view. It has a number of houseboats moored around its perimeter.
