Makhdum Sahib Shrine

Makhdoom Sahib Shrine is situated on the southern side of Hari Parbat Hill in Srinagar. It is one of the holy shrines in Srinagar. It is named after a Sufi saint Makhdoom Sahib or Hazrat Sultan. This shrine is a structure with many pillars and is a rare example of Mughal architectural style. This shrine brings out the ancient culture and archeological values in the Mughal period. Hazrat Sultan is believed to have divine powers and many devotees visit here irrespective of the religion. This shrine is visited not only by Muslims but also by people of all faiths, throughout the year.
